MDE402   Assessing the Learner   (15 credits)

Description

Approaches to assessment within medical education will be considered, including formative and summative methods. Participants will explore a range of assessment strategies including OSCE, work-place based assessment, assessing competency and performance and mechanisms for quality assurance. Methods of providing feedback to students will be critically examineda and reflected upon within the context of their practice.
